​About Ms. Smith
I have been a library media specialist for six years.  Prior to becoming a library media specialist, I taught fourth grade for seven years.  I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education K-8, master of arts degree in instructional leadership, and certification/endorsement in library science in grades Pre-K - 12.

I love being a librarian and working with BLE students and faculty!  I am looking forward to a great year!

My name is Sylvia Jordan and I am the library assistant at Blackman Elementary School. I am married and have two daughters and two grandchildren. I have been an EA at Blackman since 2003. This is my first year as a library assistant and I am very excited and looking forward to a great year.
